NORW Instructions for Coolsat owners
I am always a little leery about information I find on the Internet, however this one makes some since! I have highlighted, and Capitalized, but I do not take any credit for any information below! Thanks goes out to EVD for this!
NorW Instructions for Coolsat owners
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You must do a Factory (Re)set to get all of the Satellites in the menu to show if you are using a current Channel list or you just deleted all Channels.
To get a signal to lock in the Nimiq 91 after fixing your settings. Go to manual scan and change TP to 12224 GHz and your signal meter will work. Fixed in V110 and V111; no need to do this
When scanning in satellites select Auto Scan, select 119,110 and 91 (with) network search on and your good to go. You will get correct SID all channels.
Mulitple LNBs? ===> What to remember is LNB1 -LNB2 - LNB3- LNB4- select the Satellites you want to scan in the Order you have them hooked (aka....Connected) to your switch. This is not a "Hard" rule; prefer scanning from 'Highest' Bird to 'Lowest' regardless of switch settings
Why select auto (scan)? Because it will now automatically pick up any new Transponders that have been turned on or being used. Blind scan is not needed for now as this (Auto-Scan) works best.
Timer issues ===> Before pressing the timer, press ok to register that event which is highlighted, then go to timer
you will see the event with start time and end time.
If you follow those instructions, you will have no problems with the operating sw. It will produce what it says.
I Hope this help some of you Awesome Coolsat Owners!
Thanks & Good Luck!
