Fallen Angel

Many of you have heard this term and don't know what it means...Well, I'm here to explain it.
When you click on a thread (Post) and that person is having a problem, the responses you read below are to help the person who started the thread to fix their problem...IF you have the same problem, there is no need to post...Just keep reading the responses and your problem will get solved also...
If your reading a Thread (Post) and it is the same kind of receiver you have, BUT a different problem,
DO NOT post your problem in that thread...When you do that, it's called "Thread Hijacking"...You need to start a NEW thread with your own problem...Remember, If you started a thread about a certain problem, and someone came in and posted their problem, and other users started to help them, you wouldn't like it very much,,,So please give the other person that much consideration...
EXAMPLE 1
If your in (let's say) the Viewsat section of General FTA Help, and someone is having a problem with loading a factory file with the Null cable..And your having a problem with your quality on sat 119.0W...Please start your own thread...The responses you'll read on the null cable post ARE just for the null cable post...You will be ignored, or told to start your own thread.
EXAMPLE 2
Let's say your in the same section and you are reading about someone having trouble with a disecq switch, and your receiver has ALL the same symptoms as the receiver your reading about, there is NO need to post anything...Just keep reading the responses..
DO NOT post your problems in someone elses thread...
Just click on the back button of the browser, and then click where it says "New Thread"...Type in the title (example..Can't get in 91.0W, or whatever the problem is) and then type in the box what your problem is...It's that easy...That way you can get individual help for your problem.
One last thing...When posting, please include the following:
Receiver type
Dish type
LNB type
Any switches
and most importantly, your receiver settings from your Installation page
DO NOT post like this:
EXAMPLE 1
Can't get in 110.0W
EXAMPLE 2
I can't get any signal or quality, what could be wrong?
There are 2 examples where the poster did not supply ANY information at all for the other users to help them out...So Please include ALL information listed above to ensure your problem can be taken care of quickly and correctly...We are NOT mindreaders...And remember...NO THREAD HIJACKING!!
