Here are 2 solutions to get almost 9 days of guide

I had no luck to get the 9 day scan to run past 4 minutes unless it was a newly loaded file and only on the first scan attempt....even if I did a factory set...So what I did was go to ch 202 and the 9 day scan would run the full 16 minutes, then as soon as it was done scanning, I did not leave the guide and entered 239 on the remote....Again I left it there for approximately 35 mins. or so and went back to check and I have a roughly 210 hour guide....thats just six hours less than 9 days.....there are some holes in the guide but very few considering the 40.5 hours before

Here is an optional way to achieve the 9 day EPG

(This only works if you do not go into the guide and press the Blue Button)

1. Scan DN only

2.Change to channel 239 and wait for picture

3. Power receiver off on the front and wait for 10 minutes.

4. Power receiver back on and select EPG button on remote, let it sit on channel 239 in the guide for another 20 to 30 mins. (don't worry about the freezing while on channel 239, this is normal, this means the guide is being populated)

5.Once you are satisfied with your guide for DN, scan your other sats, (like GC)...
