I need some input...

What you say if I wanted to get a few "Teams" of people together for the purpose of trying older bins when an ECM hits?

What we could do is assign 5 people to each "Team", for each of the receiver brands, and these 5 people would be responsible for trying 5 older bins each and reporting back if any of them work...
In other words, we get 5 people for a Viewsat team, 5 more for a Sonicview team, 5 more for a Coolsat team, and so on...Then assign the last 5 bins to 1 person, the 5 bins before that to another person on that team, and so on...Then each would report to a general area of the Forum with the report as to any of the older bins are working...That way, we could find out faster if any older bins were working or not, instead of 1 person trying a bunch of older bins and everyone sitting here complaining that there is no tv...

Please let me know what you think, and we can start assigning people to receiver brands and assigning what bins to try...

Also, let me know if you think it's a crappy idea...That way I can go and cry under a pile of Old Coats...LOL

I'm hoping for some input from everyone on here...If alot of people agree, we'll start signing people up to help try the older bins...

I wanted to thank the few people who did decide to help out...We can just start this out as an experiment, and if it works out well, then we can move on with it...If it doesn't go well, then we can forget about it...However, I do think this will work out well...

But, we need alot more than 5 people...

We still need helpers for most of the major brand receivers ...

I have one suggestion? When a team member gets a 'Hit', he or she should state the DATE of the working bin, so that owners of other models of the same receiver can load the bin for that date too. -If it works for one, it follows it will work for all.

Well, our Bin checking teams are shaping up, but we need alot more volunteers...
Please people, I'm not Jerry Lewis at Labor Day...

If you would like to volunteer, we sure would appreciate it...When an ECM hits, we need at least 5 people per team...The more bins we can try, the faster (if one works) we can find a temp fix...

If you would like to volunteer to try 5 bins for your team, please post here, what receiver(s) you have and you will be placed on that team. We do not have any SonicView volunteers yet....You guys need to prove your not lazy and sign up to help out...Remember, if your the lucky person on your team who finds an old bin that works, you win a trip to Albania!!...Where you'lll see Corky, and his Mom and his Goat!
If you don't see your receiver model on the list, it's because nobody signed up for that model yet...You can be the first to sign up, then others will follow.
