I have been around this hobby for 10+ years now, I don't post much because I can tend to figure the problem out myself or by reading the forums. I was thinking about this the other day this is just a suggestion do with it whatever you want. But is there a way once Dn starts to switch over to N3 we can put up a splash page that users must read and accept before moving on to the forums, saying DN is moving channels to N3 there is nothing wrong with your box, if you have questions please ask in designated threads. Anyone not following will be banned for 24 hours.

Because everyone here knows how bad the bv threads were asking the same question over and over( I seen another one just today), but once the other provider chances it will be 100x worse with even more free tveers. Anyways I will get off my soapbox now.

I'm not saying you have to ban or anything but its just a suggestion use whatever or none of it if you like no hard feelings either way.

It actually is a very good idea. I've been working on an announcement system for the site that makes this quite easy. Basically, at the top of the forums there would be an announcement. The beauty of it is that once you have seen it, you won't see it again. We'll be making use of it in the future.

Good deal, wasn't sure just how to do it but just thought i would throw it out there....just know from experience how difficult and stressful it can be on everyone running the site and the servers handling it all too, when that time does come.

What about sending out a board wide PM explaining things to everyone? It also has to be said that if anyone responds to the PM with a PM, it WILL NOT BE ANSWERED, all answers are on the board, just look for it, or something like that anyway.

Just my 2 cents!! LOL :p

It's easy to see the Author of this thread has never visited the chat area...lol...If you think the same question gets asked on here alot, you should be in chat on any given night...Cham, I wish you could make an announcement page for the chat area too.....That would cut down on the questions ...maybe...lol...Peeps are still gonna ask..

I don't think it was anyones intent to ban folks for no reason, and your right people don't read a lot of times, and simply want their darn TV back(self centered). A solution is being worked on, to assist those that don't read!. Thread closed!
