What do I need to know to make a portable dish work with my VS2000 Extreme?

I had to move a couple of states away from home for a couple of months. The apartment complex that I moved into, doesn't allow "permanent dish installation. Can a portable satellite antenna from Camping World work? If so, do I need anything other than what comes in the box?

what kind of dish does camping world sell? you could get a dish 500 and a tripod if you have a patio or balcony. let me know.
