How to load a factory file on a 8100hd
This is not my post, but it works.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to update with factory file and older/current bin file using CS Upgrade loader V3.01 for proper auto-roll. Note: Can't use usb port for factory file or older bin file.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN…

1) Just make sure each of the required files below must be unzipped
2) You must know where the unzipped files are located preferably a separate folder
3) You must Factory Reset the receive before you begin the following
4) Turn the receiver off from the back power switch after the factory reset.
5) Connect the null (RS232) cable to your PC and the Receiver
6) Disconnect receiver from the satellite feeding cable

All files except the new bin file are at bottom of this post.

THE LOADER

Open the loader; New loader CSUpgrade_v3.01.exe

NOTE: Depending on your operating system (Windows 98, 2000, XP and Vista) you may need following three OCX files in the same directory where CSUpgrade_v3.01 is located and ALSO under C:\Windows\System32.

3) MSCOMM32.OCX
