CW 100R Recording From Any FTA
Guide To Schedule Recording From Any FTA
In this guide I will try to help you to schedule a recording from FTAs other than Captiveworks 600 and 600 Premium. From Captive works receivers if you have straight cable connected between PVR and receiver just touch of a green button in EPG will schedule a recording. But from other FTAs there is a procedure that will let you record whatever you want. After you have scheduled one recording it will be on your finger tips to schedule something in future.

First of all follow this guide to configure your CW100R to setup correct date and time to match with your FTA receiver.

It is very important that a storage device is connected to record your schedule programs. A USB Hard Disk drive is recommended to use but with CW100R you have choice of using USB Memory stick and SD memory cards.

1. Press Menu button to enter setup and select Timer Rec and press Ok key. By pressing the OK key again CW100R will schedule a recoding for you right away for the next one hour. If the start and End time matches with your schedule then simply pressing Return button will set the timer. If you want to change the timer then follow the procedure next:

2. Press OK and you will see Source field is selected and AV is shown in the drop down menu; which is default because we have source coming from Audio Video RCA output of you FTA receiver.

3. Press Ok again and now the DATE field will be selected and by pressing the OK key again will highlight the MOD field on top. Navigate to select the frequency of recording:
->Once
->Daily
->Weekly (if you select weekly the press OK/Right key and select the day of the week to do weekly recording).

4. Once you have selected the Mod of your recording Press OK/Right key and select the Month and day you want to start the recording.

5. After you have selected the frequency and date of the recording press OK key to go to the Next field now here you select START time of the program you want to record. Press OK key to select "HH" hours of the day and then Press OK/Right key to select "MM" minute and then AM or PM.
-> HH -> MM -> AM/PM

6. After the start time Press Ok key to go to the END time field. Here again follow the procedure similar to the start time and set end time for the program.

7. Once you have changed the start and end time; Press Ok key to select the Quality field and select the Target/Storage device that you have connected. Press the OK/Right key to select the Recording Quality of the program. CW100R offers six different types of recoding formats to save space on your storage device.
-> **
-> SP
-> LP
-> EP
-> SLP
-> SEP
You can get specifications about these formats on the back of packaging box of CW100R.

8. At the end by Just pressing the Return button on your remote will save the timer for the scheduled program.
