C/P
After struggling to figure out why my 6100 would not populate the EPG properly I stumbled across this after searching for an answer. Apparently there is a glitch with the EPG if you have both 119 & 91. I tested it on 3 receivers and it worked like a charm. It is C&P from another site.
If you have 91.0w and 119 there is a bug that will make the blue button populate the 91.0w EPG instead of D!SH EPG if you want this to work you should follow this procedure :
Scanning 91.0w TP 12224 is where the breakdown occurs. Once this TP is scanned, it prevents 119 EEPG data beyond 2 hours.
**Using a CS7000PVR, but I've been informed that this works for CS.6100/7000/7100/8000/8100 and the Visionsat line of products supported by NoRW.
1. Factory Default.
2. Enter your LNB/Switch settings.
3. Auto Scan 110 and 119 with Network Search 'ON'.
4. Delete TP 12224 from 91.0W TP list.
5. Auto Scan 91.0W with Network Search 'OFF'.
6. Re-Add TP 12224 to 91.0W TP list, and set Network Search 'ON' - DO NOT SCAN B3V TP 12224.
7. Ensure your setting for Auto CH/TP update is 'ON', eventually the channels from 91.ow TP 12224 will populate in your channel list without buggering the DN EEPG functionality.
** I have seen some instances where this process does not add the Yellow B3V EPG button to the OSD, Auto Scan of 82.0W corrects this issue without buggering DN EEPG functionality.
