Several customers have confirmed U.S. Marshals have raided GlobalWholesalers in Los Angeles California. Witness believe the owner of GlobalWholesalers was contacted by D*sh Si over a private investigation regarding programming FTA units with 3rd party software. Witness have not confirmed any arrest . Several customers have confirmed computer equipment,Fta units & dish 500 satellites were seized on this raid.

As for their website, I don't know if this has been here for a while, but it says that it is under new management. I went to globalwholesalers,biz/receivers,htm and saw that. As for being dismantled, sure looks like it.

Some of you may have read on OTHER sites that Global Wholesalers were "raided", by the FBI. I have just spoken to a VERY reliable source who confirms that this is FALSE. Someone has "apparently" started a smear campaign using this as the basis to scare clients away.

Global Wholesalers WAS recently purchased by another "established" player in the FTA field, The OLD website was down this past weekend as they were having a NEW site developed by the NEW owners. The rumor also stated they seen computers and equipment being removed. Yes SOME equipment which belonged to the PREVIOUS owners were removed by them.

As with MOST rumors of this type they are easily proven/disproven by the posting of court documents, (when law enforcement conducts a raid, it MUST be filed with the court).

Normally, I would not post anything such as this BUT in this case it appears this company is being adversely affected by the malicious actions of others. I have NOTHING to do with this company nor have I dealt with them. BUT given the source of the info, I feel this info SHOULD be posted. Therefore given this information I fell comfortable advising ANYONE who was considering dealing with is company to feel free to do so. You can google global wholesalers biz to locate their NEW website.
