RE: No Links In Chat

I'm not posting this cause i'm angry in any way, i would just like to hear some views on this rule. if the link posted does not have anything to do with other fta satellite pages or to porn sites and such, why is it such an unhonorable thing to do if it's just to help someone watch a game or a fight or any ppv? there are many links given in chat to other sites that are posted by mods and i think it's great but why not let others help folks with the info they seek. yes it's called satchat but there are many, many, other topics discussed other than satellites. i also know theres a share a link page in forums but if you can post it there for all to see , whats the big deal? yes , i agree there are lots of crazies out there who post links to porn sites and other satellite fta sites but they are gonna do that anyways regardless of rules. i find it a bit amusing that you can post the link in share a link then post that link in chat. anyways again i'm not angry at anyone just a point of view. love this site

i can understand a LIVE link NOT being wanted, because it could take you somewhere OTHER than what was stated...

i say, why not allow "DEAD" links..
for example...a link that is NOT clickable.
example:...instead of www.bud.com
why not allow,
~~~.bud.com

the end user then makes the decision if he/she wants to go there.

i follow other chat sites like most everyone does and the allow broken links to be posted..

example:
www. bud.com

i can see where it really helps people find those immediate sites broadcasting LIVE sporting events...like boxing, racing, mma etc etc etc..

not mad about tvkeyz rules at all..
no other site has ever been MORE user friendly and fta beneficial as this one...

99% of everyone that comes into chat is cool as well...
bottom line...it's a great room for help and some laffs....we all need it.
